In the latter part of the episode, Erik is seen discussing a new ruler with Gunnhild. Erik feels that Gunnhild must continue as the queen and combat Rus. But, Gunnhild disagrees with him and believes that she doesn’t deserve the position. As a result, a conference is held to find out the new ruler of the state.
