At number 10 we have the Tailed Beast Bomb. This Jutsu is devastating because of its raw power. It’s something unique to tail beasts and their Jinchuriki, so no one else can perform this. Tailed Beast Bombs are a dense mass of compressed chakra. When unleashed, these can lay waste to a very large area putting a lot of people at risk. A fearsome power without question. 9. Kirin
A powerful lightning release Jutsu developed by Sasuke Uchiha, one of the most important characters in the show. Sasuke developed Kirin off of the original Chidori which was taught to him by Kakashi Hatake. This Jutsu has immense power with a lightning dragon attacking the target from the sky when released. However, it takes a lot of setup with either having the right weather available or manipulating the weather in some way. Because of this Sasuke only ever uses Kirin twice. Once against Itachi and then against Naruto.
8. Planetary Devastation
A powerful sealing Jutsu first used by Pain in the series. It pulls rocks and other objects from the very Earth and with a magnetic force, forms a planet-like object in the sky, sealing anything that gets trapped inside it with immense force. It is a Jutsu of the Rinnegan and it is said that the moon was created by the Sage of Six paths using this very Jutsu.
7. Susanoo
A complete and absolute armor, Susanoo provides the user with not only offense but impeccable defense as well. Another ability of the Uchiha achieved by only those who can unlock the Mangekyou Sharingan. A bothersome Jutsu that is very difficult to deal with. So much so that all the Kage struggled against Madara when he used it in battle.
6. Flying Raijin Jutsu
A powerful teleportation technique first developed by the second Hokage Tobirama Senju. More popularly used by Minato Namikaze, this Jutsu allows the user to shift from one location to another with lightning speed. The catch is that the user first has to mark the areas he wants to teleport to before the technique can be used. In the hands of a master like Minato, this technique can immediately mow down entire battalions in the blink of an eye.
5. Edo Tensei—Reanimation Jutsu
A Jutsu that literally changed everything in the final battle of Naruto Shippuden. It allows the user to bring back the dead from their graves and make them do their bidding. Not everyone can perform this Jutsu as it takes a lot of skill to make it work. It was famously used by Kabuto in the Fourth Great Ninja War and by Orochimaru during the same arcs.
4. Eight Gates Formation
No one can forget the chills we got when Might Guy opened up the final 8th gate of Death against Six Paths Madara. A Jutsu that breaks all limitations on a Shinobi’s body giving them all the power they need but it comes at the cost of the body rapidly becoming useless and breaking and crumbling away. Might Guy and his father Might Dai are so far the only ones who have been able to use this technique effectively.
3. Izanagi
The ability of the Sharingan, the Izanagi helps the wielder rewrite any past events making it possible to alter unfavorable circumstances and turning the fight into their favor. It’s only available to those who have the Sharingan, or . . . in some cases to those who stole them like Danzo.
2. Rinne Rebirth Jutsu
Getting closer to our number 1 is the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu. An ability that can only be used by the wielders of the Rinnegan. This Jutsu allows the user to completely revive someone, in fact, it allows the user to completely revive a lot of people as we saw in the Pain Assault Arc. A fearsome and incredibly useful Jutsu in terms of utility.
1. Infinite Tsukuyomi
And at the number 1 spot, we have the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Used by Madara in the final battle, this Jutsu reflects the caster’s Rinegan on the moon trapping everyone in an infinite illusion. Most people don’t even realize that the world they’re living in is a complete illusion and everyone exposed to the moon’s light gets trapped in it making this Jutsu almost impossible to dodge or avoid.
