It was very tough to distinguish the top 3 games, to be honest, but after a lot of thought and research my best action game of all time goes to GTA V. GTA V is what you call a masterpiece. This game was launched after 5 years from GTA IV in 2013 and boy what an upgrade it was. Just like its predecessor, running GTA V on max graphics was a challenge in itself. This was also the first-ever GTA game where you had multiple protagonists.
The single-player story follows three protagonists—retired bank robber Michael De Santa, street gangster Franklin Clinton, and drug dealer and arms struggler Trevor Phillips—and their efforts to commit heists while under pressure from a corrupt government agency and powerful criminals. Action, Missions, storyline, gameplay, graphics, ending, open-world experience, map size, and so on. I can list a lot of things in this game that have been executed to perfection. Not only this game excels in the single-player mode, but also in the multiplayer mode. The online mode of this game is being milked by Rockstar Games for almost 8 years now and still, the standards of this game aren’t dropping.
