The first Sherlock Holmes movies came out in 2009. The film was directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Joel Silver and others. In the movie, Robert Downey Jr. had played Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law had played the role of Dr. Watson. The move has shown London from the 1890s and has beautifully depicted each of its details. In this movie, the times of 1891 are shown where Irene Adler had to deliver a package to Dr. Hoffmanstahl. When he opens the packet, there is a time bomb in it, which is defused with the help of Sherlock, and then the story proceeds further from there. The next film that came in tow, Which was related to Sherlock, was about his little sister Enola Holmes. This movie was featured on Netflix. The movie had some controversies as the soft, caring side of Sherlock that was portrayed never existed. He was always shown as a man with mechanical thinking. The Irregulars, which is the next Sherlock Holmes Series that is coming up on Netflix, Just got a new teaser. This show is set to release on 26th March 2021. It is going to be an eight-episodic series. This time the story will be revolving around a group of troubled street teens Who are somehow manipulated by Dr. Watson into solving the city Crimes. Apparently, this storyline is based on the Baker Streets Irregulars in Arthur Conan Doyle’s original Sherlock Holmes novels. In the novel, they were the ones who helped Watson, and the Detective knows the viewpoint street punks and helped them solve the mysteries. But this time, it will be shown in the Netflix version. The baker street irregulars have been depicted in many of the movies and plays where they have been helping Sherlock Holmes in getting valuable information to solve his cases. But the version and idea of Irregulars that Netflix wants to show is something truly unique. And can also be termed as out-of-the-box thinking. What if the Group of kids that gave information to Sherlock Holmes was actually the one solving the cases! And Sherlock is a drug addict who uses these kids and takes away all the credit. And has becomes a supernatural being. This idea is raw and has instantaneously quipped the interest of viewers.
However, there is a high chance that this version of Sherlock Holmes may not be appreciated by everyone. As some had also disliked the previous emotional side of Sherlock Holmes in the movie Enola Holmes. Even if the movie was a huge success.
