Who Will be in the Cast?
Firstly, there is a major change in the Hotel Transylvania casting as Adam Sandler leaves his role as Dracula. Dracula is the owner of Hotel Transylvania and the father of Mavis. He has stepped away from the role for an unknown reason and is being replaced by Bryan Hull to voice the character. The reason for the same hasn’t been revealed by Sony Pictures either. Nevertheless, the directors, Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon, took this as an opportunity. The Plot of the film has Dracula turn into a human, causing the character to look a lot different than his previous iterations. Therefore, this change in casting would feel natural, embracing the full potential of Brian Hull. Other than this, the rest of the cast members remain the same. Selena Gomez reprises her role as Mavis, daughter of Dracula, wife of Johnny, and the mother to Dennis. Adam Samberg will return as Johnny Loughran, who is the human husband to Mavis and the father to Dennis. Kathryn Hahn returns for her role in Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation as Ericka Van Helsing. She is now the wife of Dracula and great-granddaughter of Abraham Van Helsing. Jim Gaffigan will also reprise his role as Dracula’s nemesis, Professor Abraham Van Helsing, Ericka’s great-grandfather. Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon reprise their roles as the Werewolf couple, Wayne and Wanda. David Spade and Keegan-Michael Key will play the roles of Invisible Man, Griffin, and ancient mummy, Murray, respectively. Lastly, Asher Blinkoff will voice the son of Mavis and Johnny, Dennis Loughran with Fran Drescher voicing Eunice, Frank’s wife. Also Read: Why Did Adam Sandler Leave Hotel Transylvania 4?
