Spencer is known for his involvement in the Dragon Ball universe at Majin Buu, while Elliott is the voice actor for Captain Ginyu. The two have only recently finished their roles in the Dragon Ball Super series, as two of the voice actors for the English dub but you would assume that they would have some insight into the production. In an exclusive interview with the two at Supanova Melbourne 2020 with Nerds4Life, they confirmed that they have not heard about a return to the series just yet but don’t worry, as that doesn’t mean it won’t return soon. This is because the two later did state that unfortunately, voice actors are usually the last to find out about production dates. Although, we do have some insight into what might happen when the series does return. In the interview, Elliott went into his love for playing Captain Ginyu and that he believes that the faithful warrior of Frieza isn’t done yet in the Dragon Ball Super series. He is unsure what kind of role Ginyu will have in the future if he was to return but with Frieza still alive, I suppose it’s possible for him to want someone as loyal as he to be by his side once again. For now though, when the Dragon Ball Super anime does return, it will likely focus on the Broly film or the Moro arc, which the Dragon Ball Super manga is currently covering now. Hopefully soon, we will hear some news about when that return will possibly be.
