You can’t just show them fighting against monstrously powerful opponents just yet. They’re kids, so they need to take things easy. Boruto did not have the best of starts though. In fact, fans didn’t quite like its first few episodes. But, as the anime has expanded its world, fans became more and more excited. A few fans have questioned the canonicity of Boruto anime, saying it’s not canon after all. Ukuyo Kodachi, the Boruto creator has something to say about that. According to the Boruto creator, Ukuyo Kodachi, the anime is working very closely with Masashi Kishimoto himself. Kishimoto is the main behind the entire Naruto franchise, and from what we know, he has been a very active part of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations series.
Apparently, Kodachi, on Twitter, explained his, and the anime’s relationship with Masashi Kishimoto. Here’s what he said, “Boruto has been written with Kishimoto-san meticulously (truly meticulously) checking over it. Episodes 8/9 were originally one episode, but Kishimoto was saying things like, “let’s expand here because this is interesting,” “more of that,” and, “let’s give it a theme like this.” As a result of the excitement between myself and Kishimoto-san, I wound up working very hard on Miwa’s screenplay.” This means Masashi Kishimoto is working on Boruto anime as well, and it is being released under his watch. So, no folks, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is not filler at all. Many fans claimed it be filler, but now, even the writer himself confirmed that Kishimoto is working on it. In fact, since Masashi Kishimoto is working on it, and will definitely continue working on it, that would mean we are gonna get even fewer fillers after all. Excited to hear that?
