1. Batman: The Animated Series
Batman: TAS is arguably one of the best adaptations of batman ever produced from the pages of comics to the tv screens, it is considered a classic among the fans. It is a critically acclaimed series, best known for giving us, Harley Quinn who is not from the comics and is the original character made for the show. The series was praised for its thematic complexity, film noir aesthetics, darker tone, artistic presentation, and modernization of its title character’s crime-fighting origins. Even Gave us Harley Quin who later got her own comic books Which is the original character from the show.
2. Cowboy Beebop
Cowboy Bebop is one anime that is a mix of genres, like sci-fi, neo-noir, and space western one who is a fan of any of these genres can watch it or a classic anime fan in general. This anime is popular with the western audience, in general, that’s why I am featuring this in my list. Additionally, its voice acting and writing are on the next level and was among the best in that period. Steven Blum gave a performance of a lifetime as Spike, It is directed by Shinichiro Watanabe and still remains one of the best of his works. The anime follows the adventures of Spike a bounty hunter and the crew that includes Faye Valentine, Jet Black, Edward, and their dog Ein who hunts criminals and takes rewards around the universe.
3. The Simpsons
Simpsons is one of the best sitcoms to be ever aired, currently airing its 31st season. The show has a cult following of its own and is an iconic show among pop culture fans. The Simpsons is the longest-running American animated program, besides it is also the longest-running American sitcom. Matt Groening created this sitcom for adults and taking on a different take sitcom which was nowhere to be seen when the show first started.
4. Futurama
Futurama is an American adult animated science-fiction sitcom created by Matt Groening that aired on Fox and later on picked up by and on Comedy Central. The series follows the adventures of slacker Philip J. Fry, who is cryogenically preserved for 1000 years and is revived in the 31st century. Fry finds work at an interplanetary delivery service, working alongside the one-eyed Turanga Leela and robot Bender Bending Rodriguez. TV Guide ranked Futurama one of the top 60 Greatest TV Cartoons of All Time. Its actual depiction of the future is somewhat relatable. You should watch it.
5. Rick and Morty
Rick and Morty is a name that is popular in every household. If not, they at least even heard of the adventures of Rick and Morty. Rick and Morty is kind of re-imagining of back to the future series. Rick is the grandfather of Morty, and they go on different planets in search of different quests and adventures. The series gets constant praise from critics for its humour, originality, and creativity. You can easily binge the whole series and there are a total of 4 seasons as of now. There will be more seasons of this hit show as the creators want to explore more in the Rick and Morty universe.
6. Gravity Falls

They unravel great mysteries around the town with the help of their friends. There are a total of 40 episodes of Gravity Falls. It is a highly acclaimed show that was cancelled after a short period and since its cancellations, fans are waiting for more have made petitions for the revival of the show.
7. Big Mouth
This semi-autobiographical animated sitcom is available on Netflix and is among the best-animated shows that are available on the streaming service. The show is about middle schoolers going through puberty and what they are experiencing are showcased with their hormones. Nobody thought that the show will be that good and currently there are 3 seasons available of this show. Big Mouth, the animated show is based on the experiences of creators Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg.
8. Love Death + Robots
Love Death + Robots is an American animated anthology series Created by Tim miller ( known for Deadpool ) and David Fincher ( known for fight club and seven ); it is re-imagining of another very famous film heavy metal. Each episode tells a different story with different characters and settings. It is one of the best-animated shows of all time. My favourite episode from the show is shape-shifters, the animation and production quality is top-notch in the show. It is highly rated by critics and fans alike. Grace and Winstead, appearing in live-action roles, rather than animated. In June 2019, Netflix renewed the series for a second season.
9. Phineas and Ferb
Phineas and Ferb is an animated comedy show which is best known for its comedic chops and well-built characters. They are two step-brothers who have a sister named Candice and a pet platypus named Perry. It follows their daily life during the summer vacation. They make a machine or built a rollercoaster in their back yard, and their sister is always looking to debunk their plans. Their platypus perry is a member of a spy organization, and his nemesis is Dr Doofenshmirtz. Who wants to get rid of Perry the platypus.there are a total of 222 episodes of Phineas and Ferb.
10. FLCL
FLCL aka Furi Kuri or Fooly Cooly is a blend of sci-fi and action and since its release, it has got a cult status among its fans majorly in North American regions. The anime tells us the story of Naota Nandaba, a twelve-year-old boy whose life is disturbed by the arrival of the alien woman named Haruko Haruhara. The Vespa which Haruko rides has also become a pop culture hit and She also ranks among the most popular female characters in Anime history. The anime starts off with beautiful cinematic shots and then the tables turn when Haruko enters the scene with on her Vespa with a guitar.
