The 2021 G80 is the third generation of the series and shares the same platform and powertrains as GV80 SUV. The Sedan is equipped with the massive front grille, unique exterior lightning, and luxury lined cabin. The grille has been replaced with crest grille, Kammback rear, and quad lightning at both ends have been onboarded for the styling of the mid-size Sedan. The model will retain the long hood, cab back design but will look wider than its predecessor. Its suspension system relies on a forward-facing camera that scans the road and adjusts the suspension stiffness to suit.

Genesis hasn’t released any official pricing details and trims levels; the company will offer and their features. The new model is expected to be released at a starting price of $43545, slightly more than the current version. The company can also launch a sporty version in its line up when it eventually goes on sale.

The latest 2021 Genesis G80, made its debut on March 29 via online stream event in South Korea. The redesigned mid-size luxury Sedan will appear in showrooms later this calendar year 2020.

Best-in-class touchscreen measuring 14.5-inch is mounted at the dashboard’s center, which can be controlled by a touchpad circular dial. Other safety features added to the lineup are automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, active lane changer that changes lane automatically on indicator usage, blind-spot monitors, adaptive cruise control with active machine learning. The standard pieces of equipment also include Apple CarPlay and Android compatibility; the driver can now control the level of engine sound through the Lexicon sound system. The Sedan will be covered with limited and longest powertrain warranty with a cover of five years or 60,000 miles and ten years or 100,000 miles, respectively. It also includes a complimentary maintenance cover for three years or 36,000 miles.
